         James E. Gilbert, Esq. is a graduate of Loyola University of Maryland (Class of ’83) where he majored in Biology and was a member of the Beta Beta Beta National Biological Honor Society.  Mr. Gilbert attended the University of Baltimore School of Law (Class of ’87) and was a member of the Law Review.
        A former big firm trial lawyer with over 25 years of experience, Jim is now a sole practitioner who focuses on a personal, common sense approach to litigation.  Jim is his clients’ sole point of contact and matters are not delegated to associates or paralegals. To accommodate his clients’ schedules, Jim often meets with clients at their homes or places of business in the evening and on weekends.
        A father of four, Jim is an avid fan of Notre Dame football, Liverpool soccer, and McDonogh School athletics.  He is active in local youth sports, participates in school fundraising events and has coached high school mock trial teams.  Jim is a past President of the St. Mark School Board in Catonsville, Maryland and has served on the St. Mark Church Building Committee.
